Carly is the Director of Mercer’s Global M&A Culture Research, and a Principal in the M&A Transaction Advisory business based in New York, NY. Over her eight-year career with Marsh & McLennan Companies, Carly has worked on projects in over 40 countries and has particular expertise project management, change management and employee engagement.
Carly has a strong understanding of HR strategy and her M&A experience is primarily across the areas of due diligence, integration, culture, organization design, leadership and talent assessment. In her role, Carly has worked with global M&A clients of all sizes and across various industries providing HR support and project management.
Carly previously served as the Chief of Staff to the Global Leader of Mercer’s Multinational Client group where she executed strategic operational priorities for the global business which included organization design and management and go-to-market. In addition, Carly managed c-suite relationships with large global organizations and supported human capital strategy projects, with a focus on gender and future workforce solutions.
Prior to her Chief of Staff role, Carly lead the development and execution of localized employee engagement programs in 40+ countries for Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC). Through this work, Carly advised senior executives across the firm on strategies to drive value for our colleagues and clients. Carly also spent one year at the Deutsche Bank Americas Foundation in the Global Social Finance Group.
Carly has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Monmouth University’s Leon Hess Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate & Marketing (BSBA) from the University of Denver’s Daniel’s College of Business.
